Summer has come, along with the time for being outdoors and grilling. Even though grilling is normally thought of as meat who’s to say it can’t be veggies?
Let’s put some some eggplant, portobellos or corn on the grill and have ourselves a good time.
Why not make a Kale burger? And if you are too busy or lazy to do so why not hit up the Logan Square Farmers Market on Sundays (from 10am-3pm) and grab one from Green Spirit? Their kale burger is a great find and they have a garlic and onion cashew cheese I’m just waiting to try.
Another great find is the Bot Bakery booth. Say that ten times fast! Everything is vegan, organic and gluten free. The booth was run by great friendly people.
So make your way to logan square next Sunday for a great summer day or grab your friends for some home cooking, just don’t forget to invite me!
Come say hi to Kristen at our Wicker Park location!
