This flowering sister plant
of the mint plant went from being in smoothies to being in EVERYTHING! But I’m
ok with that. With the many of wonderful things that the Chia Seed does for us,
I think it should be in more!
So where do we start with this
Chia seeds are extremely
popular for weight loss (not sure why I started here). They reduce food cravings and also make

Not only are these seeds
easier to digest than flax seed, another Omega 3 fatty acid provider, but they
don’t have to ground up. Saving time! Speaking of Omega 3, did you know that chia

There are a few great brands
that you can find at your local market. For example, Spectrum, Navitas, Earthy
Choice, and Ultimate Chia Life are
a few. One of my personal favorites
are the Heath Warrior Chia Bars that come in coconut, acai berry and chocolate
peanut butter. Yumm!!
Check out their website. They
sell Chia seeds too!
