Beat the Heat with Creamsicle Pops!

Man, is it hot outside! Don’t you miss those sweet summer days
when you could just sit on your back porch with your friends after swim class, slurping
down Fred Flintstone Push-up pops before your mom called you in for a dinner
and a bath? It’s time to remember that feeling. I have created the “adult”,
vegan version of an old-school childhood favorite, the creamsicle. Alas, there’s
no “push-up” design or Flintstone packaging, but there’s also no animal
products, weird food dyes or HFCS that was in most of the fun things I ate as a
kid.

So go ahead, lounge on your porch with some booze-sicles if
you want. Mom’s not calling you in for bed this time.

All you need is:

1 can of frozen OJ
(or OJ/pineapple/mango blend)

2/3 package soft tofu
(about 10 ounces)

1 tablespoons vanilla
extract

2 tablespoons sugar

A few glugs of marshmallow
or whipped cream vodka
(Optional, but highly
recommended
)

Blend all ingredients in food processor. Pour in your handy
dandy popsicle holders, or Dixie cups with popsicle sticks. Freeze. Enjoy on
your back porch, no parents in sight.
