Native Foods Cafe
We can safely attest that following a whirlwind pre-opening week, serving both lunch and dinner
each day for family and friends of Native Foods we are ready to rock in Denver.
After much anticipation for the opening in Denver we were
welcomed with opened arms and big smiles. We could not have felt more welcome in
this neighborhood. The plant eaters were jumping for joy over the fact that
they were getting their very own Native Foods. We met so many great people at
our soft openings that we know this store is already full of love.
I was personally able to meet and talk with so many great
people while holding them hostage outside in line, well not really, they all
graciously waited. I met a man who had never had vegan food and was being quite
the nay-sayer until he finished a Reuben and came back outside to tell me we
were on to something and that he never expected something to taste that good
and come from a plant. And speaking of, we sure served up a ton of plant based goodness that
I was also able to meet a family who was about to sit down
at a neighboring restaurant until they saw our sign and told me their son was
vegan and never has the opportunity to eat everything on a menu, I told them
to go get him. He was so grateful for the experience that he ended up filling
out an application to work there. I met children with dairy allergies who never get to go out
to eat and children who have been vegan since birth. These are the stories that make these openings so great.
It wasn't just everyone I met in line who were happy to be
there, but our staff in Glendale had their hands full with a packed restaurant
at both lunch and dinner every day. They were all rock stars and kept
everything moving super smoothly. They were just as excited for the opening as
So….thank you Denver for being such a great party host. We
feel part of the neighborhood already. And thank you to Boulder for letting us
borrow some of your customers, you really have some good ones!
Now, if you are
in the Denver or Boulder area go visit the Native Foods Café there, they will
be happy to see you!
